Steps Dance Center Dress Code Policy

Hair must be neatly secured in a bun, ponytail or braid.
NO Jewelry! NO Street Shoes!
Please label all belongings.
Steps is not responsible for lost articles.

DANCE ATTIRE FOR JAZZ, TAP, LYRICAL
Black leotard or black dance top, black jazz pants, skirt or shorts,
tan tights if needed. (Shorts may be worn without tights) Black jazz
and/or tap shoes, nude lyrical shoes (such as FootUndeez)

HIP HOP
Loose fitting clothing (sweats, basketball shorts, t-shirt).
NO jeans. No zippers, braids, etc. Dance sneaker or clean gym shoe
not worn outside of the studio.

DRESS CODE FOR BALLET
Basic Ballet & Ballet I:  Powder blue leotard
Ballet 2 and over:  Black leotard
Males:  Black dance pants, white shirt, black shoe.

All levels - pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair must be
secured in a neat bun - no exceptions.

DANCE EXPLORATION
Pink plain leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes,
black tap shoes. No skirts please!
