What is competitive dance?
Our competitive (company) dancers range in age from 5-18, and are committed to a more rigorous training and rehearsal schedule. The competitive dancers attend competitions where they perform dances (group or solo) in front of a panel of judges and receive results and critiques. Our company dancers also attend dance conventions where they train with some of the country’s top choreographers. Competitive dancers must continuously train to maintain and improve their technique, balance skills, strength and flexibility. Competitive dancing requires a solid commitment to dance.
